Breast Cancer is a serious disease that affects many women throughout the world. The key to early detection is getting an annual mammogram. The health care professionals and students who work in the field of radiology and mammography have the opportunity to take a 4 day workshop being offered at State Fair Community College.

This workshop runs for four days, from July 30th through Aug 2nd, at a discounted rate of $25 per day or $75 for all four days. It will be held on the SFCC campus.

Free NCRC testing will be offered on day 1 for those who have not previously completed it. Darla Mounce, a registered radiologic technologist for over 25 years, will instruct the course.

This course is approved by the American Society of Radiologic Technologists for Category A continuing education credit. Attending the full four days of the workshop will provide 33 credit hours.
