HARRISONVILLE, Mo. — A Belton man and woman are facing four felony charges dating from a robbery and assault in April.
According to a probable cause statement, an officer responded to a residence in Belton April 22 regarding a robbery. The victim told law enforcement he was struck in the face by a gun and was robbed by Skyler Stipancic and 18-year-old Mistin M. Gregg.
The victims face showed signs of an assault and was treated at Belton Regional Medical Center. The incident happened when Stipanchich and Gregg offered to sell the victim a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses.
The stolen property is valued around $2,000. Gregg is charged with being an accessory to robbery and assault. Stipancich is charged with accessory to robbery along with assault. Both are also charged with two counts of armed criminal action.
