A motorcycle accident in Randolph County at about 8:30 Sunday night ended in injuries and charges for a Moberly man. The Highway Patrol reports Mark Mullanix, 59, was riding north on Route A just south of Moberly when he hit a dog in the road. He was thrown from the bike. Mullanix suffered serious injuries and was flown to University Hospital. After an investigation troopers charged Mullanix with alleged felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. Due to his injuries, he was released to the care of the hospital.
