BOONE COUNTY, Mo. — A Florida resident was arrested in Boone County this morning for partially forcing his way into a residence.
According to a news release, deputies responded to the 6400 block of Highway 40 around 1:37 a.m. Upon arrival they made contact with 26 year old Mason B. Hunter of Pensacola, Florida.
Hunter had partially forced entry into the residence but was stopped by an occupant inside. Witnesses at the scene stated Hunter could be heard threatening the occupants of the residence while he was outside.
Deputies took Hunter into custody and charged him with burglary in the first degree, assault in the third degree and property damage in the second degree.
