A man from Marble Hill, Missouri pleaded guilty on April 27th to charges of conspiring to conduct drug trafficking operations. Joshua William Vawter, 37, in October, piloted an airplane from California to West Plains Missouri which contained over two hundred pounds of marijuana which were placed in duffel bags and golf bags. The marijuana was confiscated by the government in addition to several firearms, and nearly $2000 cash. When sentenced, Vawter could face up to 20 years in federal prison without parole and a $1,000,000 fine. That is the estimated street price of 200 pounds of marijuana.
