The Marshall Board of Education approved the tax rate for the 2011-2012 fiscal year during their regular meeting Tuesday night. This year’s tax rate dropped 7 cents from $3.16 in 2010 to $3.09. Click to hear KMZU’s Jillian Molloy talk with Superintendent Craig Noah.
Board members also reviewed the entire district’s 2010 standardized testing results. Noah says math is one area teachers will be focusing on this school year.
“Pink Week” activities were another item presented to the Marshall Board of Education. October 1st through the 7th is this year’s designated “Pink Week.”
Noah says a full list of “Pink Week” activities will be presented to board members during their September meeting.
