There was some good news at Monday night’s City Council meeting in Marshall.  City Administrator Connie Latimer says the city saw increased revenue of about $20,000 from their sales tax.  “It was up for the month of February as compared to last February,” says Latimer, “It’s a good sign.  Any time you have a month with that kind of increase it’s a good thing.”  Council also decided to allow Relay for Life to use the inner lane of their downtown square on June 9th and approved a bid for demolition of a residential building and for the sale of two old police cars.
