The Marshall City Council will hold both a public hearing and their regular meeting on Monday evening. Click to hear KMZU’s Kristie Cross talk to City Administrator Connie Latimer:
“The focus of the public hearing will be to hear comments or concerns regarding a request to rezone a 60 foot by 350 foot tract of land which is located on Drake Road,”said Latimer,”The change would be from R-1 residential to C-2 highway business. This property has been residential and they have changed the use on it. Right now, he currently has some mini-storage buildings on the property and he just wants to add another section.”
The agenda for the regular council meeting includes the consideration of approving a contract and deed with Saline County Habitat for Humanity, as well as a change in ownership of a liquor license.
The public hearing is scheduled to get underway at 5:15 p.m. and will be immediately followed by the regular session.
