MARSHALL, Mo. — The Marshall City Council will meet Monday evening for a regularly scheduled session.
A public hearing will kick off the meeting regarding rezoning an area in the Section Two Township of Marshall.
Business will be heard from the audience before committee reports are given and the council hears from the city administrator and mayor.
Discussion of the annual year-end follow up special session will be brought forward before an agreement with Pioneer Trails Regional Planning Commission is reached to allow the city to apply for a grant to fund the demolition of some structures at the Marshall Habitation Center, which the city acquired early in 2018.
An ordinance to approve the board of public works’s annual operating budget will be given a second reading and the annexation of an unincorporated area into the City of Marshall will also be considered.
After any other business is brought before the council, members will move to an executive session.
The Marshall City Council meeting is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Monday.
