If you can’t wait till Thursday for your pyrotechnic enjoyment, then head to Marshall for their Independence Day celebration Tuesday night. Click to hear KMZU’s Chelsea Wade talk with Marshall Habilitation Center Employee Organization Liaison June Harris.
The evenings’ activities get started at 6 p.m. “We are going to have a fantastic fireworks display that will happen at dusk, but prior to that our employee organization will be serving some fantastic items at minimal charges.” Harris said. “Then the Municipal Band will be performing at the gazebo at 8 p.m. and we encourage everybody to come out and participate,” she adds.
Hot dogs will be served at the Marshall Habilitation Center located at 700 East Slater. The gazebo housing the band is on the center’s grounds. Admission is free.
