SALINE COUNTY, Mo. — Court proceedings will get underway in Saline County Wednesday for a man accused of stabbing a woman in January of 2017.
Court documents filed in Saline County allege that Roger Wayne Johnson, 53, of Marshall, stabbed a woman in Marshall on the fifth of January. The 66-year-old victim was treated for stomach and thumb wounds at Fitzgibbon Hospital.
Johnson is facing felony counts each for assault in the second degree and armed criminal action.
He will go before a judge in a Saline County court room at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday for a preliminary hearing.
