SALINE COUNTY, Mo. — A man accused of child sex crimes in Saline County will not have a preliminary hearing scheduled until after the first of the year.
A Wednesday setting preliminary hearing for Chase M. Watts, 20, of Marshall has been continued until 9:00 a.m. on January 9, 2019.
Watts was charged in October with three felony counts of statutory sodomy in the first degree, an aggravated sexual offense.
Court documents say Watts molested a five year old victim on more than one occasion.
Watts remains behind bars at the Saline County Jail, held on bond totaling $350,000.
