A robbery early this Tuesday morning has Marshall Police searching for the suspect.

According to the department a clerk at the Quick Run Convenience Store on South O’Dell called emergency dispatch saying he was robbed at gunpoint about 2:30.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 5’ 9” tall with slender build, wearing a black hoodie and black track style pants with red stripes. The amount of cash that was taken has not been disclosed.

On Tuesday, 08/19/2014, at 0231 hours, a clerk from Quick Run convenience store located at 675 S Odell telephoned Saline County 911 and reported he had been robbed at gunpoint. Marshall Police were dispatched to the Quick Run convenience store.

Marshall Police arrived on scene and met with the store clerk who told police a white male who was approximately 5’ 9” tall, very slender, wearing a black hoodie and black track style pants with red stripes entered the store and produced a handgun instructing him to produce the cash drawer.

The clerk told police he did as he was told and provided the robber with the drawer. The clerk stated the man took the cash from the drawer and then left the business.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
