The Marshall School Board will hold its monthly meeting at 7:00 Tuesday evening. Click to hear KMZU’s Bob Allen talk with Marshall Superintendent Craig Noah:
Noah says the board will hear a report from the company responsible for replacing the roof of Eastwood Elementary. A construction engineer will be on hand for a brief presentation about the project including before and after pictures.
Noah also plans to update the board on the district’s finacial status. Noah says there may be less money, but it is too early to know what the school will be facing as the legislature has not yet decided how to handle the loss of federal stimulus money that had been a boon to schools across the state. Noah believes the process may take until April or May and any estimates on possible changes in funding would be premature.
