CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. – A formal arraignment will take place this morning for a Fulton man who fired a handgun in a McDonald’s Restaurant.

Brian Keith Heathcock, 29, reportedly fired the shots after an altercation at the chain store in September of 2018. Authorities say video surveillance shows Heathcock pistol whipping a man after they got into an argument and firing the handgun before fleeing the scene.

Heathcock will appear at 10:30 a.m. on charges of second degree assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon, fourth degree assault, first degree property damage, receiving stolen property and unlawful possession of a firearm.
