MDC wetland managers will lead the tours, and will provide advice about wildlife habitat management, maintenance, controlling problem animals and plants, and many other topics. Discussions will also include the benefits and challenges associated with wetland restoration. This is a chance for area land managers to learn more about maintaining or restoring wetlands to benefit wildlife, native plants and hunting opportunities. Participants are asked to register in advance. For more information or to register, participants can call 660-646-6122. The event will occur rain or shine.
