CARROLLTON, MO – While state regulations are continually revised regarding the new medical marijuana law, the Carrollton City Council met Monday evening to pass a number of measures, including updates to comparable city regulations.
Mayor, Scott Bartlett, said city codes must be changed to match the state revisions.
The recent updates allow law enforcement to recognize medical marijuana as potentially legal. Previous ordinances disallowing all marijuana were updated accordingly. The ordinance was passed unanimously by council.
Mayor Bartlett also gave an update on entities currently considering Carrollton for medical marijuana related business.
