MISSOURI — Love is in the air at KMZU! Thursday, live on KMZU two area love birds got a little closer when listener Caleb Thilking, of Odessa, popped the question to his girlfriend, Kayla Kock while she was at work at St. Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit.
Caleb won the chance in KMZU’s Love on Air contest to ask the woman he loves to marry him. His entry was chosen as the best love story among numerous entries in the Love On Air contest.
Caleb took the chance of a lifetime Thursday afternoon. . . and what did Kayla have to say?
She said yes!
As part of his contest win, Caleb chose a beautiful ring from Reed & Sons Jewelers in Sedalia.
Kayla and Caleb have been together for four years and have a young son together, Hudson, who is just over a year old.
They share the chores on the farm, including working calves, feeding cattle and bailing hay.
Now they will start a new life together as a married couple! Congratulations to the KMZU Love on Air 2019 winners, Caleb Thilking and Kayla Kock!
