Improvement of the downtown and a look at rural regionalism will be the topics of discussion.  Jeannine Rann, of Missouri Main Street Connection, will discuss what would happen if the downtown is improved.

Two representatives from the Zimmer Corporation will explain how to implement rural regionalism in the area and how to handle various roles that might come with it.

“All of this together, then, speaks to the dynamics of Lexington moving beyond the 21st century, and we think that’s so important to our community at this point in time,” said Brown, “We need to make that leap forward.”

Discussion gets underway at 6:00 in the Lexington Middle School.
