Four people were arrested on drug charges Saturday night in the 3200 block of North Locust Grove Church Road in Boone County. The Sheriff’s Department served a County search warrant after a witness reported suspicious activity by residents on the property.
Once on scene, Boone County Deputies discovered several known meth making ingredients and components of a methamphetamine lab. Further investigation confirmed that a meth lab was indeed on the property. A large quantity of finished meth and paraphernalia was also discovered.
29-year-old Nicholas P. Powell of Columbia is charged with manufacturing a controlled substance.
19-year-old Jade S. Lewis of Columbia was also charged with Meth manufacture plus Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer in the 3rd degree.
Michael A. Robinson, age 20, of Hannibal now faces charges of Manufacturing a Controlled Substance and Identity Theft. Robinson also had two Illinois warrants for Parole Violation on the original charge of methamphetamine conspiracy and a Failure to Appear warrant for unlawful procurement of anhydrous.
19-year-old Haily M. Robinson of Hannibal was charged with Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance.
All four remain in the Boone County Jail pending court appearances.
