BATES COUNTY, Mo.- A Holden, Mo., resident was apprehended by the Missouri State Highway Patrol last night in Bates County on allegations of drug possession.

According to the filed arrest report, David Brandes, 40, is facing preliminary charges of felony possession of methamphetamine and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

It is unknown how much methamphetamine was seized from Brandes.

He was taken to the Bates County Jail around 5:30 p.m., where he was processed and released pending the filing of formal charges.
