JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – According to a recent press release from Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster, an Audrain County jury found Darran Boston, 41, of Mexico, Mo., guilty of three counts of statutory rape in the first degree, three counts of statutory rape in the second degree, six counts of statutory sodomy in the first degree, five counts of statutory sodomy in the second degree, three counts of child abuse, two counts of use of a child in a sexual performance, one count of endangering the welfare of a child, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, and one count of possession of child pornography for the continuing abuse of two young girls.  child abuse

The release indicates Boston repeatedly and continually raped, sodomized, abused and exploited two young girls, one when she was just ten years old.  Both girls testified and shared their horrific experiences with the court.

Boston waived jury sentencing and is scheduled to be sentenced on June 24, 2016, in the Circuit Court of Audrain County.  He is facing a minimum of 10 years in prison and a maximum of more than 500 years imprisonment.

“April is child abuse prevention month and sexual assault awareness month, and this case is a terrible reminder of the abuse perpetrated on innocent children,” Koster said. “I hope the jury’s verdict will allow the two victims and their families to begin the healing process.”
