Michelle Obama has told campaign donors to feel proud but not satisfied with her husband’s accomplishments because more work lies ahead and they need to help re-elect him to do it.

The first lady made her first foray into the 2012 presidential campaign on Thursday with a speech to a Democratic Party women’s group in Washington.

She predicted a long and difficult campaign and told the more than 500 women in the audience that the president “needs you to work like you have never worked before.”
