Troopers in arrested two teenagers from Owosso, Michigan early Monday morning. A representative has confirmed the arrest followed a two-hour car chase. The pursuit began in Chariton County, and two Michigan teenagers were followed through Carroll, Ray, and Livingston counties. The pair was eventually arrested in Livingston County.
Eric Carr, 17, and Clayton Butcher, 18, were taken into custody around 4:30. They were put on a 24 hour hold in the Ray County Jail.
Carr is facing one count each of felony tampering with a motor vehicle, resisting arrest by fleeing, and no driver’s license. Butcher is is facing one felony charge of tampering with a motor vehicle.
