UPDATE (06/09/16; 3:42 p.m.): The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that Bella was found safe between 3:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. yesterday and was returned home.

According to a press release from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, Franklin County deputies, Fire, EMS, Missouri State Highway Patrol and other units are searching for a missing autistic 5 year old girl.

The girl answers to the name Bella and reportedly wandered away from her residence in Villa Ridge on Baker Street approximately one hour ago.

Bella is 3’ tall and weighs 40 pounds, and has long brown hair.  She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with a dinosaur logo and blue jean shorts.

Anyone seeing an unaccompanied female child or female child fitting this description in that area is requested to contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at 636-583-2560.
