The Platte County Sheriff’s Department is currently investigating the disappearance of two Edgerton, Mo women.  The Sheriff’s Department is speaking with a person of interest in the case and two search warrants have been executed.  According to officials,  Britny Haarup, 19,  and  Ashley Key, 22, have been missing since Friday morning.  The investigation began when a call was received by the Edgerton police department regrading two young children who had been left unattended.  They are the children of  Haarup and were in the care of the two sisters. The children are reported to be safe and are now with their father.  Haarup and Key were believed to be in a 2002 white Dodge Ram 2500 series truck with chrome wheels and the word union on the back.  That truck was found Saturday along a gravel road; but still no sign of the two women.
