JEFFERSON CITY, Mo—Applications are available for a financial aid program to assist non-traditional students with the cost of tuition.
Applications for the Fast Track Workforce Incentive Grant became available Aug. 7. The grant is a new financial aid program that assists in supplementing tuition for those over the age of 25 or for individuals under 25 that have not been enrolled for school within the last two years.
The program may also be a catalyst for the achievement “Missouri’s Big Goal” to have 60% of employment aged adults obtain a degree or skilled-work certificate. The Coordinating Board of Higher Education approved a list of high-need-occupations for the 2019-2020 academic year that qualify for the grant.
The program will officially be effective Aug. 28. Those interested in applying for the Fast Track Grant can obtain more information on the Fast Track website.
