Jay Nixon Comments on Program

The Missouri Agricultural Energy Saving Team, a Revolutionary Opportunity, or MAESTRO, will provide low-interest loans and rebates for farmers taking steps to implement best practices for energy efficiency on their farms. Governor Jay Nixon says it’s a groundbreaking initiative that will also help Missouri farmers save money.  Between now and May 2013, the program is expected to help Missouri farmers who have livestock operations at approximately 400 farms. Contact EnSave at 800-732-1399 to have an initial assessment completed to determine whether an energy audit is appropriate for the farm operation.
