WARRENSBURG, Mo. — The 43rd annual Missouri Lions All-Star football game will be played this Saturday evening, July 20, at Walton Stadium, Kennedy Field on the University of Central Missouri University campus in Warrensburg. The game will feature a group of outstanding football players, who are 2019 high school graduates, with many of them being from the KMZU/KRLI listening area.

Rich Johnson, who is the head football coach at Knob Noster High School, will coach the Blue team, while Chad Jamerson of East Prairie High School, will be the head mentor for the Gold squad.  Area players include:  Chase Billups and Clayton Stallo from Marceline; Dalton Fuller and Elliot Turner from Cameron; Alvaro Porras and Payton Wallace from Lexington; Connor Kavanaugh and Tyler Trosper from Hamilton; Mitchel Hydorn and Cameron Jones from Princeton; Adrian Hernandez and Graydee Rains from Gallatin; Andrew Harvey from Knob Noster; Scout Schaberg from Wellington Napoleon; Tanner Karnes from Warrensburg;  Conner Greer from Orrick; Riley Brill from Mid Buchanan; and Sean White from Boonville.

Proceeds from the Lions All-Star game will help support the Missouri Lions KidSight program, which is a part of the Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation.  The All-Star game has raised over $200,000 during its 43 year history.

Pregame festivities will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, with the game to follow at 7 p.m.
