RANDOLPH COUNTY, MO – A Moberly man is in court this afternoon facing charges of kidnapping and domestic assault.
Randolph County prosecutors say Manley Lampkin Jr., 36, was fighting with a female inside a car on North Morely Street, early last Friday morning. Moberly police spotted the incident going on and a pursuit began before Lampkin Jr. was arrested.
Fourteen grams of marijuana was reportedly found in the car and Lampkin’s ex-girlfriend appeared to have injuries to the face including multiple bruises.
Lampkin is charged with kidnapping 1st degree, domestic assault, and felony harassment. Arraignment is 1:30 p.m. today.
