MOBERLY, MO – Moberly police arrested a wanted man Tuesday evening after receiving tips as to his location.

Officers responded to 1800 East Outer Road to an area retailer where they apprehended Paul Goldsmith. Police entered the store around 8 p.m. finding Goldsmith, who immediately turned and ran from officers. According to an incident report he continued to resist and fight with police before he was subdued and taken into custody. At the time of arrest Goldsmith was allegedly in possession of methamphetamine paraphernalia.

He was wanted on a stealing count out of Boone County, and several parole violations which carried a bond amount totaling over $60,000.
