MOBERLY, Mo.— A Moberly woman faces several felony charges after a traffic stop over the weekend.
Moberly Police Department says it arrested Dorothy Tolson on six counts of delivery of a controlled substance Saturday, Jan. 11. An officer stopped Tolson and established probable cause to search the vehicle. During the search the officer found scales, packaging materials, a “large amount” of narcotics, marijuana, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia. The officer determined the items consistent with drug distribution.
Charges against Tolson await formal filing by the Randolph County Prosecutors Office. Tolson remains at the Randolph County Justice Center in lieu of $15,ooo bond.
At the time of her arrest by Moberly police, Chariton County Courts listed Tolson on probation for possession of a controlled substance.
