MOBERLY, Mo. – When Moberly Police could not find a man wanted on two felony warrants Thursday, they happened across two other men with active warrants.

Police were trying to serve two felony warrant at Halleck and Promenade when the made contact with Ronald Smith, 49,. Smith had an active felony Randolph County warrant for possession of a controlled substance. They also located Ross Minks, 45, who was wanted in Randolph County for fraudulent use of a credit device and had an active warrant in Marion County for controlled substance possession. Minks fled on a bicycle and was later found hiding in a shed on Monroe Street.

Both men are eligible to post bond at the Randolph County Jail.
