RANDOLPH COUNTY, Mo.—A traffic stop leads to possession charges for one woman in Moberly.
On Monday around 8:30 in the morning, Moberly police attempted a traffic stop in which the driver fled on foot. The officer made contact with the occupant of the vehicle, Christina Simpson. The smell of Marijuana coming from inside the vehicle prompted a search which turned up drugs and drug paraphernalia. Simpson had in her purse paraphernalia used to inject methamphetamine as well as methamphetamine. Simpson was placed under arrest for possession of a controlled substance and her bond is set at $3,500 cash or surety. Simpson remains in custody at the Randolph County Jail.
