An Independence driver was ejected from his vehicle in Jackson County Friday afternoon. According to the report, Tyler Lohman, 21, of Independence was Westbound on Heidelberger Road near Lake City Road in Jackson County when he ran over an unknown object in the roadway. Lohman quickly applied the brakes and was ejected from the vehicle and slid down an embankment. the vehicle came to rest on the shoulder of the road. Lohman had moderate injuries but elected to seek treatment on his own. No charges were filed over the accident.
