MoDOT allowing traffic on flooded Highway 65
CARROLL COUNTY, Mo. – Missouri Department of Transportation officials are still allowing traffic through the flood water on Highway 65 in Carroll County.
Water is covering about a mile and a half of the highway, just North of Waverly, in Carroll County.
MoDOT is using a pilot car to lead traffic through the water, and this is reportedly taking quite a while.
Low riding cars may want to rethink driving in the flood water, a MoDOT official told KMZU News.
Drivers should plan alternative routes if possible.
