CARROLL COUNTY, Mo.—Floodwaters have engulfed U.S. 65 south of Carrollton on multiple occasions over the last few months; making the heavily relied on roadway impassable.

Well, commuters and area residents can rejoice because the route they have been dependent upon, prior to flooding, is in use again making commutes shorter and navigation more direct. The 911 center has informed KMZU that MODOT has announced the U.S. 65 south is open. MODOT has deemed it safe and passable and drivers can now use 65 south again.
