With the onset of springtime weather road crews will be starting up projects around the listening area. Engineer Mike McGrath gives some details on work in counties that border the Missouri River, starting in Ray County.
Shoulder work is scheduled in Chariton County on US 24 from Route K inside Keytesville back west to Route F. That gets started today (Mon.) at 8 a.m. and goes till 3 p.m.; work is expected to be completed by the end of Tuesday. Also in Chariton County shoulder work will be performed on MO 11 from Route E, south to US 24 Wednesday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. In Randolph County culvert replacement will be conducted along Route B from County Road 2410 east to 2420. That work will be done Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Also in Randolph County culvert replacement will be done along MO 3 from County Road 1060 south to 1050 today from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Later this week in Livingston County MoDOT crews will be core drilling on US 65 from Route Z North to Highway 36, then from there along 36, west to Route D from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. For a complete run down of projects throughout Missouri, log onto the MoDOT website.
