Winter is a dangerous time for driving, either from extreme cold or freezing precipitation. Be sure your tires are good and you have all necessary fluids including antifreeze and washer fluid.

Plus, be ready to slow down and put extra distance between yourself and other vehicles when precipitation is present.

You can always plan ahead with the Traveler Information Map and find a full roadwork schedule at the MoDOT Website.
