Thanksgiving will bring a light load and short week for road crews, but there is still work to be done.

Work in Caldwell, Carroll, Chariton and Daviess Counties will mainly be general maintenance including brush cutting pothole patching, shoulder repair, drainage work, sign operations and more.

There is work scheduled in Gentry County, including the closing of Route P from EE to Route 85 for culvert replacement Monday between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Route FF will also be closed from Route C to Route EE in Harrison County for culvert replacement Tuesday and Wednesday. That work will be done between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily.

And in Linn County Route B is closed at the Locust Creek Bridge for replacement until May.

Route WW is also closed at the Clark Branch Bridge, east of Marceline for bridge replacement until January.

Route M is closed from Route V to Ingel Road for culvert replacement Monday from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

And on U.S. Highway 36 from Route 139 to Route 5 crews will work on pavement repair Monday through Wednesday. That work zone will include a 17-foot width restriction.

In Livingston County regular maintenance will be performed along with crews working on Route V at the railroad bridge in Chillicothe near Broadway and Polk for a bridge deck installation Monday through Wednesday.
