Fall is officially here, but road crews are still busy with projects this week.
Area engineer Mike McGrath goes through a list of this week’s projects in his district.
Work in Caldwell Co. includes Route 13, from Route HH to the Ray County line as crews will be mowing all week.
In Chariton Co. on Route 11, from Route 24 to U.S. 36 in Linn County, crews will be sealing Wednesday through Friday.
In Daviess Co. on Route 6, from Route J to the Grundy County line crews will conduct pavement repair all week starting Wednesday.
On Route 6, from Route 31 in DeKalb County north to U.S. Hwy 69, crews will be doing pavement repair and widening all week. That zone will have a 10-foot width restriction.
On Interstate 35, from the DeKalb/Clinton County line, to mile marker 68 north of Winston; crews will conduct a resurfacing project all week. That zone carries a 13-foot width restriction.
On Interstate 35, from mile marker 76 to mile marker 72; crews will perform pavement repair all week. That work zone will have a 16-foot width restriction.
In Grundy Co. crews will be doing pavement repair on Route O Monday through Wednesday and on Route NN Thursday through Friday.
In Linn Co. Route B is closed at the Locust Creek Bridge, until further notice.
Crews will be sealing Route 11 from Route 24 in Chariton County to U.S. 36 Wednesday through Friday.
In Livingston Co. on Route V at the railroad bridge in Chillicothe near Broadway and Polk, crews will be pile driving throughout the week.
In all counties on various routes crews will be doing bridge maintenance, mowing, signing operations, shoulder repair, pothole patching and drainage work throughout the week.
