As we progress into autumn road crews will have less projects, but not this week.

Area Engineer Mike McGrath runs through a list of projects in his district.

In Caldwell County

·               Route 13 – Crews will be mowing from Route HH to the Ray County line all week.

·               U.S. Hwy 36 -crews will be doing pavement repair on the westbound lanes from the Livingston County line to Route 13 all week.

·               Route D – will be closed from Route J to Route CC for culvert replacement, Tuesday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily

Carroll County

·               Various routes – Mowing, Sept. 30 – Oct. 4

·               Various routes – Sign operations, Sept. 30 – Oct. 4

·               Various routes – Shoulder repair, Sept 30 – Oct. 4

·               Various routes – Drainage work, Sept. 30 – Oct. 4

Chariton County

·               Various routes – Pothole patching, Sept. 30 – Oct. 4

·               Various routes – Mowing, Sept. 30 – Oct. 4

·               Various routes – Sign operations, Sept. 30 – Oct. 4

·               Various routes – Shoulder repair, Sept. 30 – Oct. 4

Clinton County

·               Various routes – Mowing, Sept. 30 – Oct. 4

·               Interstate 35 – Over County Road 232 north of Route V; crews will conduct bridge rehabilitation all week long. The work zone will include a 14-foot width restriction and traffic has been diverted to head to head.

Daviess County

·               Route 13 – From Route HH to the Caldwell County line crews will be mowing all week.

·               Route 6 – From I-35 to the Grundy County line crews will be pothole patching throughout the week.4

·               Route 6 – From Route 31 (DeKalb County) north to U.S. Hwy 69; crews will be doing pavement repair and widening all week. That work zone includes a 10 foot width restriction.

·               I- 35 – From the DeKalb/Clinton County line to mile marker 68 north of Winston; a resurfacing project will run throughout the week which includes a 13-foot width restriction.

DeKalb County

·               Route 6 – From Route 31 north to U.S. Hwy 69 (Daviess County); pavement marking will be conducted through Friday with a 10-foot width restriction.

·               U.S. Hwy 69 -From Pence Road (Clinton County) to Taylor Road in Cameron; crews will be pavement marking this week. That zone will include a 12-foot width restriction.

·               I-35 – From the DeKalb/Clinton County line to Mile Marker 68 (Daviess County); a resurfacing project will go through Friday with a 13-foot width restriction.

Livingston County

·               Route V – At the railroad bridge in Chillicothe near Broadway and Polk; crews will be pile driving all week long.

And in all counties on various routes crews will be doing mowing, sign operations, drainage work, and bridge maintenance throughout the week.
