More than 100 pieces of excess equipment from the Missouri Department of Transportation’s northeast district will be sold during an auction Saturday morning.
According to officials, items available will include generators, batwing mowers, and snow plows. The auction will get underway at 9:00 a.m. at the Wheeler Auction lot in Paris.
|On January 26, MoDOT’s Northeast District will be selling some excess equipment as part of a consignment auction that will be held at the Wheeler Auction lot in Paris, Missouri. Approximately 100 pieces of equipment are expected to be sold. Some of the items include: pull brooms, snow plows, batwing mowers, air compressors, generators, among many others.”We began the process of clearing out excess non-fleet equipment by first offering the items to the other districts in the state,” said Steven Pike, support services manager. “The funds from the sale of the remaining items will be put to work on roads in the Northeast District,” he added.
