There are two cases on the 1:30 docket in Caldwell County Friday afternoon.

One case is that of a Breckenridge man who pleaded guilty in April to receiving stolen property. Joseph Davis, 23, also pleaded guilty in March to related charges in Livingston County.

Davis was arrested in October after authorities found more than 60 bronze vases in the trunk of a car.

Davis will be sentenced by Judge Thomas Chapman.

The second case is that of a Cowgill man that goes back to 2007.

Robert J. Loveall, 43, is charged with statutory rape, child molestation, incest and endangering the welfare of a child. The case has been continued numerous times and Friday’s proceedings will hear the charges and any motions made by the defense or prosecution.

Judge Chapman will also oversee this case.
