According to the Energy Information Administration, monthly ethanol production for February 2011 stood at just over 907-thousand barrels per day, or 1.07 billion gallons for the month.  That is a decrease from January’s average of 920-thousand.  February production on an annualized basis represents 13.9-billion gallons. Stocks for ethanol rose slightly to 874-million gallons.
RFA calculated demand for February stood at 902-thousand barrels per day. Total demand includes exports, which EIA recently began reporting.  According to EIA data, February exports of ethanol were more than 59.85-million gallons.  Excluding exports, domestic demand for ethanol stood at 851-thousand barrels per day.
