Interstate 35 southbound was at a standstill earlier Monday morning because of a pair of wrecks just south of Kearney.

The Highway Patrol reports a vehicle driven by 34 year old Jeremy Fuoss of Kearney was stopped on I-35 at the 25 mile marker after being cut off in traffic.

The driver of the vehicle that cut Fuoss off and forced him into a guard cable left the scene.

His vehicle was hit from behind by 26 year old Jonathan Armstrong of Kearney.

Both Armstrong and Fuoss were taken to Liberty Hospital with minor injuries.
