A Kansas City man was injured in a motorcycle accident Saturday morning in Clay County. The crash occurred shortly after 11 a.m. on northbound Interstate 435, near Highway 210. The Highway Patrol reports Chester Rooks, 60, attempted to slow for traffic. He hit the back end of a truck driven by Donald Cloe, 56, of Independence. Rooks was transported to North Kansas City Hospital with moderate injuries.
