HENRY COUNTY, Mo. – An investigation is underway, after the operator of a motorcycle that fled from law enforcement was shot in the chest.
Henry County Sheriff Kent Oberkrom said his deputies joined the pursuit from Johnson County around 3:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon. The pursuit began near Leeton in Johnson County and proceeded to crisscross several highways and gravel roads in Henry County before the motorcycle stopped on Highway 2, just West of Highway J. Deputies found an apparent gunshot wound to the upper left chest of Clint B. Nichol, 44, of Warrensburg. Nichol was also found to be wearing a pistol holster but no firearm was on his person. Nichol is hospitalized in Kansas City.
The investigtion continues.
