COOPER COUNTY, Mo.- The Missouri State Highway Patrol apprehended two men this morning following a high-speed vehicle pursuit in Cooper County at 8:00 a.m.
According to the filed arrest reports, the driver, Malik Herron, 22, of St. Paul, Mn., is facing charges of felony resisting arrest, exceeding posted speed limit- 120 mph/70 mph, failure to drive in right lane, failure to stop at a stop sign, and careless and imprudent driving. Kevin Martin, 25, of St. Louis, Mo., was also arrested and found to have four pills of ecstasy in his possession . Martin is being charged with felony possession of a controlled substance.
Both Herron and Martin remain in custody at the Cooper County Jail with the option of bond. Formal charges are currently pending.
