BOONVILLE, Mo. — An air, land and water search by Highway Patrol is underway for a man who jumped into the Missouri River in Boonville.
According to Troop F, at around 11:40 a.m., a trooper observed a white man in his 30s jumping into the river from the bridge. The man resurfaced and disappeared.
The family of the man has been identified, according to Highway Patrol. He is not being identified at this time. As of 7:33 p.m., the search has been suspended and will continue Monday.
The search is being suspended for the evening & will continue tomorrow.
Assisting agencies have included Missouri Conservation, Boonville PD, and Cooper/Howard Co. Fire & Law Enforcement Units.
